Antivibration Pads

AAC provides a wide variety of antivibration pads for applications ranging from industrial to the smallest electrical or medical components. Our pads are made from silicone thermal gels, rubber, durulene® cork, foam and for specific applications even a proprietary process of bonding layers of vinyl chloride elastomeric resin fused with a reinforcing monofilament fiberglass. Our NRC pads are RoHS compliant. The load and environment of your application determine the attributes of the padded solution that you need. In addition to effective vibration damping, our pads provide superior resistance against cold, heat, chemicals, electricity, slippage and other environmental conditions that may be present.

Silicone Gels

We provide a variety of specialty mounts, gels and tapes to finish off projects or complete jobs that may be slightly out of the norm. Our line of silicone thermal gels and tapes provide solutions for filling gaps or affixing small elements that are susceptible to heat or moisture. Use of these specialty mounts, gels and tapes range from complimenting other AAC parts for larger applications to small electronic applications such as motherboards or drones.

Elastomeric Mounts

AAC offers an extensive range of energy absorbing elastomeric isolators that limit the transmission of structure-borne vibration and impacts. Our products are designed for simple use and a wide variety of orientations in compression, shear and slanted angle loading. While economical, these products are made of quality rubber, silicone, Neoprene, Durulene™ and steel materials that allow support for the right amount of load for each application. Stud Mounts

The depth of the stud mount product line at AAC provides a selection for any need. From urethane stud mounts that are heavily damped, resistant to abrasion, oils, chemicals and ozone and ultraviolet radiation, to simply designed natural rubber isolators, we have the variety for your application. Our stud mounts can be found in any combination of male/female/blank for your specific need. Additionally, you can choose the diameter, length, thread size and load characteristics to provide just the amount of vibration protection.

Foot Mounts

AAC provides durable industrial quality foot mounts that can be used to raise, level and/or isolate light, medium and heavy weight industrial machinery. The line includes a large variety of styles and materials which include: stainless steel, fiberglass reinforced polyamide, painted or galvanized, stamped base or miniature.  These various styles along with articulating and non-articulating varieties provide solutions for many applications and environments including medical, chemical, pharmaceutical, food and beverage industries.

Cable Isolators

AAC offers a wide variety of cable isolators that resolve shock and vibration issues in a wide range of applications. By selecting wire rope with the proper characteristics - wire diameter, number of strands, cable length, cable twist or lay and the number of cables per section, we have created isolators that provide superior equipment protection. As an elastic element, wire rope isolators will afford attenuation of vibration disturbances in much the same manner as they attenuate shock inputs. Wire rope isolators provide inherent damping by virtue of relative motion between wire strands. This damping limits vibration response peaks and limits responses to start-up and shut-down transients.

Hangers

AAC provides a wide variety of isolation hangers in spring, elastomer (rubber, neoprene, durulene®, etc), and combined elastomer and spring configurations. The elastomer only hangers are designed to isolate high-frequency vibrations in suspended piping and equipment, preventing the transmission of vibration to the building structure. Our spring flex hangers are designed to isolate low-frequency vibrations in suspended equipment and piping. All elastomer and spring hangers are designed to isolate both low and high-frequency vibrations. AAC’s hangers are molded of color-coded elastomers. The springs are colored permitting instant identification of loading capacities.

Spring Mounts

As with all AAC products, our spring mounts are made of quality materials to provide maximum effectiveness regardless of application. The coils utilized in our spring mounts are designed with an intelligent ratio between coil outer diameter and operating height, providing lateral stability and low operating stresses to ensure a long life of the isolator. We provide a wide range of solutions in our spring isolator line. Ranging from stand alone, laterally stable spring-flex isolators with an elastomeric cup designed to isolate low frequency vibrations in air handling units, fans, chillers, and other HVAC equipment to more substantial power generation applications and electrical equipment in conjunction with structural steel bases and concrete inertia blocks – AAC has the solution for you.
